After breakfast at the hotel, we headed out to walk the city of Reykjaik. Walking the entire city is actually quite doable because Reykjavik is small and quite walkable.
We stopped in at the church (Cindy’s favorite), walked the shopping streets and along the harbor. On a whim, we decided to buy tickets for the Hop-On-Hop-Off bus to get a different (and a bit broader) view together with some history. Having a place to sit while someone drove us around was not bad either!
We got off for a late lunch in the main area of the city (cool Food Hall) and then took the bus back to an area called Perla to hike down to the thermal beach. The hike was nice and through some forest right in the middle of the city. After a bit of relaxing at the hotel, we met up with our Active Adventures group for the first time in the hotel bar and headed out to dinner.
