We are off the grid now and trying to save phone batteries so not too many pictures to share. We have a battery bank to recharge but with 8 days to go we are being conservative for now.

But we hiked above the cloud layer today and got our first view of the summit. So that was worth turning on the phones! It looks very high and far away but we are very excited.

Our support team sings us a song before the sun goes down, with the summit in the background. We are 2 of a total party of 4 on this adventure. The team supporting us is incredible. We have a full size tent with cots, and there is a separate tent for dining, plus a potty tent. We have a cook and a waiter. The porters carry their own gear plus all this extra stuff. And pass us while hiking to the next camp. This is why we have a massive wad of cash for tips.
